Ty joined the LCDA in April, 2014, in the role as Executive Director. His primary responsibilities include planning and directing the activities, including public relations, recruitment and membership services for the Authority. Additionally, Ty works closely with bond professionals to design and implement financial programs beneficial to LCDA members.
Before joining the LCDA, Ty served as a Vice President and Sales Executive for BNYMellon and JPMorgan Chase (and its’ predecessors Bank One and Premier Bank).
Ty is a resident of the City of Central and has been married to Liz Carlos since 1989. He and Liz have 2 children, Tyler and Caitlin. Tyler lives in Dallas, Texas and is a 2016 graduate of John Paul the Great Catholic University, 2014 graduate of LSU and 2010 graduate of Catholic High. Caitlin is a 2020 graduate of LSU Health Sciences in New Orleans, 2018 graduate of LSU and 2014 graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy.
Ty enjoys LSU sports, fishing, hunting, golf, music, fine cars and South Louisiana Culture. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from LSU in 1989 and is originally from Houma, Louisiana.
