2017 was a very good year of issuance for the Louisiana Local Government Environmental Facilities and Community Development Authority “LCDA”. The LCDA issued bonds on 21 projects totaling $947,282,000. Additionally, the LCDA participated in the remarketing of a $250,000,000 transaction closed a month earlier for Westlake Chemical and the restructuring of a $32,380,000 transaction done in conjunction with an issuance for Nicholls State University.
