A native of Lake Charles, LA, Mack Dellafosse obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Louisiana-Monroe (formerly Northeast Louisiana University) in 1993. An experienced insurance and purchasing professional, Mack possesses over 25 years of claims adjusting and purchasing experience. He is a licensed Louisiana Notary and maintains comprehensive insurance licenses in both Texas and Louisiana.
Mack and his wife Kimberly have two sons. He is committed to his community and since 2006, has served as a member of the Calcasieu Parish School Board. He also serves on the Calcasieu Parish Headstart Policy Council. Mack, a former college football player, remains an avid sports fan. His love of all sports and his commitment to mentoring is why he has dedicated over 20 years to coaching youth sports (baseball, basketball, and football). In addition to coaching, Mack has served on the governing board of the Little League organization in his community.
Mack possesses a strong work ethic, a trait he states he inherited from his mother. He strives to instill this character trait to his sons and the young people he mentors. When interacting with kids, Mack states that he often refers to a quote by George Washington Carver which states “Ninety-nine percent of failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.”
He was elected as the 2018 Chairman of the LCDA Board at the October 2017 Annual Board of Director’s meeting.
When Mack is not spending time with his family or volunteering in the community, you will find him playing around with gadgets, partaking in do-it yourself projects or traveling.
